ISG - Granting Access to the E-Support Site

The E-Support Center provides information regarding warranties and technical support for Canon’s dealers.  This section details the process to grant access to the e-Support site and also identify individuals’ additional service roles in the organization.  Please be advised, the E-Support Center is a non-resident site in UAM, however, the registration process is integrated in the site-specific template.  

 

To assign access follow these steps:

 

  1. Click on the E-Support link in the Resident Application Access section. The E-Support site-specific template opens.

 

  1. Indicate if the user is an ATSP Manager by checking the box. The Location Assignment screen pops up.

           To obtain a list of ATSP Managers, please view the Using the ATSP Report topic.

 

  1. Select the applicable location by checking the Assign box, then clicking the OK button.

 

  1. Check any/all the roles that apply to the user in the Additional Service Roles role group.

 

  1. Check the E-Support Site Access box. This will allow the E-Support tab to appear on the user’s ISG Central homepage.  Included in this field is a link to click if the user needs to obtain an E-Support ID.

 

  1. Click the Assign button, then the Close button. You are returned to the create/update user template.  If this is the only assignment or update for this user, you must click the save button in the create/update user template screen.

 

Please note: when logging in to the e-Support site be sure to enter your login information in the bottom log in, as pictured below.
