Before setting up a new user, it is strongly recommended that a search be performed to see if that user already exists in UAM. This will help to prevent the creation of duplicate users.
To search for a user:
Click the User Profile button on the top menu in the UAM homepage. The create user and update user tabs appear.
Select the update user tab and the Search for Users screen displays.
Enter any/all search criteria, then click the Search button.
Some of the search fields have LOV's
that can be clicked to display a list of possible values for that field.
If the user already has a profile in UAM the Search Results will appear as in the example below:
If the user does not exist in UAM, a "No Data Found" message will display.
