ISG - Email Notifications and Scenarios

This topic discusses the types of email notifications that are sent by UAM, who receives them, and the situations that trigger their issuance.  Click each email type in the table below to view an example.

One any role or attribute is changed by an Administrator and is saved.

Approval or rejection has been indicated for every role or attribute requested.

An Administrator requests updates of restricted roles, attributes or information for a user.

Messages Request Completion Notice

Request has been processed by upper Administration in the workflow.

An Administrator resets a user's password

Reset password email

An Administrator resets a user's password

An Administrator changes a user's password

Change password email

An Administrator changes a user's password and clicks the Send Password by Email link.

The user must have access to a site for its address to appear in the email notification.
