Attributes are informational fields in site-specific templates that are not considered roles for Canon PartnerNet, but play an important role in access and delivery of information to the user. Depending upon the user type, a portion of or all of this information may not be visible.
Site Roles allow end users access to related Canon information by authorizing access via the UAM site roles for Canon PartnerNet.
Depending on the user level, visibility site roles and templates available will change. These roles are often tied to Order Management functions, Repair Service, and Content Management. In other topics we will discuss the assignment of attributes and roles assignment process for Canon PartnerNet.
