In order for users to view information properly on Canon PartnerNet, the dealerships’ locations must be indicated in the Location Assignment section. The steps below will show you how to perform this task.

Click the Type dropdown in the Location Assignment area and choose to search for locations either by Bill To or Sell To codes.
Enter additional information in the Search Criteria field such as the customer's name, a portion of the customer's name, or the % wildcard. The Search Results will display in the Available section.
Select the desired location by clicking on it. The location will be highlighted.
Click the Add button. The location will move to the *Selected section.
You must have at least one location in
the Selected section to provide the correct access. If
no locations are moved to the Selected section and the user profile is
saved an error message
Click the Save button at the bottom of the User Profile screen. A confirmation message appears.
You have now successfully completed the set up of a new user, with site access to Canon PartnerNet attributes and roles. The system will now automatically generate a welcome letter to be sent to the registered email address in UAM. The welcome letter will include their login ID and a systematic generated one-time use password, along with a link to the Canon PartnerNet site.
The passwords are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as listed on the email. Failure to do so will result in a login attempt error. The user has three tries to get this correct before being “disabled”. If the user is disabled, they must click on the forgot password feature again.
