ISG - Understanding UAM

UAM is a software application that allows Administrators the ability to create, maintain and update users of various sites. You can access UAM via these sites:

What are Resident and Non-resident Sites?

Resident Sites are websites whose users are managed in the UAM.   Administrators provide users with access to these Resident Sites by indicating Site Roles for each user in their respective site-specific templates.  Non-resident sites are websites that require their users to have a separate User ID and password to fully access these sites.  Usually only site access is granted to these sites in UAM.

UAM provides the ability to assign access to the following sites:

Resident Sites

Non-Resident Sites

Non-resident sites require users to be registered within the sites to obtain full access.  If you are not a registered user, please request access via the contact link on the requested site’s homepage.

What are Site-Specific Templates?

Each Resident Site on ISG Central has a site-specific template where the UAM Administrator can indicate access.
